The Animal Welfare League NSW Glen Innes Branch opened in December 2021. The branch consists of a group of dedicated volunteers who want to improve the lives of companion animals in their local community and assist those in need.

Glen Innes SES Unit is the primary combat unit for Flood and Storm damage in the Glen Innes area, and provides logistics and support for all other agencies.
