SWIMMING SEASON OPENS

Glen Innes Pool will reopen on Saturday, 12 September 2020 and Emmaville Pool on Saturday, 3 October 2020.

The Glen Innes Aquatic Centre opens on Saturday, 12 September 2020 and will open daily from 10.30am to 6.00pm, and for an early morning swim session from 6.30am to 8.00am on weekdays for lap swimmers. Saturday and Sunday hours are 10.30am to 6.00pm.

There will be COVID guidelines that apply to all pool users such as hand washing, social distancing, hand sanitising, plus not sharing towels and not coming to the pool if you are sick or unwell. Access to and use of shower facilities at the pool are restricted under COVID requirements.

It is recommended that patrons come to the pool dressed ready to swim and not use the change rooms, as well as showering at home after swimming, instead of at the pool. QR Mobile scan on entry as part of COVID tracking requirements are also a condition of entry.  Kiosk staff can assist with any questions of use.

The Centre provides a number of activities:

• Aqua Fitness will commence on Tuesday, 6 October 2020 at 8.30am and will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8.30am to 9.30am and at 6.15pm Wednesdays;
• Redfins Swim Club meets each Monday night at 6.00pm during the season, commencing 16 September;
• Redfins Squad training for all ages will be on weekdays from 6.30am, with stroke correction commencing each Sunday from 22 September at 10.00am;
• Wheelchair access to the main pool is available via a ramp.

Half and Full Season tickets for families and individuals are now available for purchase at Town Hall and Glen Innes Pool.  Please call the Centre on 6730 2440 for ticket prices.

Children under 4 years of age FREE

Spectators and carers (non-swimmers) $2.50

Family Season Tickets (as appears on the Medicare card) – $300.00

Family Half Season Tickets (as appears on the Medicare card) – $150.00

Individual Season Pass – $160.00

Individual Half Season Pass – $80.00
