About Us

Cool Choir is a grassroots community group, inviting anyone, regardless of age, experience or ability, to stay active and connected with their communities, enjoying the physical and mental health benefits of singing in a group, whilst having fun!

We are an easy-going, fun-loving lot who enjoy the many positive health effects resulting from group singing. Meeting fortnightly in Deepwater (started Sunday 9th February), we learn a mixture of contemporary and traditional songs that incorporate easy harmonies, using professional backing tracks and sometimes accompanied by our little ukulele-playing contingent.

Performances at various local aged-care facilities and other public events are scheduled through the year and our end-of-year Celebration Concert Supper Dance (with Rock'n'Roll band) has become a crowd-puller!
